Sawdust Art Festival

I’m counting down the days until the kiddos are out of school and we have the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors. A summer staple in our home is at least one visit to the Sawdust Art & Craft Festival.

The Sawdust Art Festival features over 200 Laguna Beach Artists and their work. There are live demonstrations, a children’s area where the kiddos can explore their artistic side, live entertainment and art work all around.  It is a fun and unique experience for the entire family. Everyone in your family will find something fun to do or see at the Sawdust Art & Craft Festival.

The festival will run from Friday, June 24 to  Sunday, August 28, 2011
and be open 10 am – 10 pm daily.

Tickets are

$7.75 Adult one-day
$6.25 Senior one-day (65+)
$3.25 Children (6-12)
Children 5 and under are free.

You can also purchase a season pass for $15

This looks great! Too bad we will be on vacation then. Any suggestions for a fun day trip for this Friday 6/10? I want to do something fun with my kiddos (5.5 yr twins and 4yr boy) on Friday after an intense work week.

Karen, will you be off al day Friday? or just in the afternoon. If you are going to be doing half the day- I would head to Newport and to the movies on the beach and a bonfire after.. and play tourist in the Newport Peninsula. If you will be off all day, with this weather I would head to La Jolla and do the coves and the Scripps Aquarium. I would also explore Torrey Pines. Just depends on if you are doing half day or full day.
