We love Irvine Park and the Irvine Park Railroad. We visit often and it’s become a tradition to head to Irvine Park Railroad for Easter, Halloween and my favorite holiday of all, Christmas. This will be the 4th year in a row that we have made our way up to the Irvine Park Railroad Christmas train to visit Santa and participate in all of the fun activities. We bring our extended family, a thermos filled with hot chocolate, treats and take the train to meet Santa and take pictures.

We usually head to the  park early to partake in the many fun activities including cookie decorating and Santa’s Bounce House.  The kiddos love cheesing around the different photo stations and also love storytime with Mrs. Claus. There are quite a few fun activities that are free of charge for the family. If you get there early you can usually  avoid waiting in line. This year like last year you can purchase your tickets in advance online for a specific time and avoid waiting in line.  You can purchase your tickets by clicking here.

The train opens it’s doors on December 2nd  to December 23rd.

Three other families will win 4 regular train tickets + 1 Wheel Fun Rentals at Irvine Park bike rental coupons (good for the single surrey bikes too!!) + 4Orange County Zoo passes.

    I would be so thrilled to win! My niece is 3 years old and was diagnosed at 18 months with a very rare and aggressive form of cancer (ATRT). She is a total rock star in my eyes. She has endured so much in her short time alive and has a long road ahead of her. Not a day goes by that she doesn’t smile and be the sweet girl that she is. Her and her parents will be in CA visiting us (which includes her two cousins 2 &4) Nov. 27- Dec. 4. It would be awesome to take her to Irvine Park Railroad and just let her be kid and share an awesome experience with her cousins.

There are 7 kids between us, two of the kids will be celebrating their first Christmas’, and this would be a wonderful tradition to start.     This is my son’s first Christmas that he understands and is excited about Santa Claus. He asks me daily to take him to Santa’s house so he can meet him. Like most three-year-old little boys, he’s obsessed with trains too. I’d love to be able to take him on the Christmas train to meet Santa and experience the festive celebration at the park.     My then 2 year old son was sick last year and we never got a chance to go. So instead of not using the tickets he gave the tickets to our neighbors as a christmas gift. So proud of his generosity. But we plan on going this year as this is the one time he gets to ride the train
