Halloween Costume Swap and Oktoberfest!

Do you have your costumes geared up for Halloween? I luckily was able to find some cute and super affordable costumes at my local thrift shop, because I tried looking the last week in September and the costumes at Target were ransacked! There was hardly anything left. If you’re looking to save some money and find a costume, you definitely have to check this out.

Here’s a neat way to save some money this Halloween season and to also help some children that are less fortunate.  The Phoenix Club in Anaheim is hosting a “costume swap” this Sunday October 14th from noon to 4.   Bring in any gently used costumes that your kids will no longer fit into and you can swap them for another costume that someone else brought to the event.  Donate as many costumes as you like, as any extra costumes will be donated to The Orangewood Children’s foster home.

The Phoenix Club is simultaneously holding their annual Oktoberfest celebration, which is the largest in all of California.   Anyone who donates a costume gets a 50% discount on admission to the Oktoberfest festival.  Oktoberfest is taking place at the Phoenix Club every weekend in October.
