We love Knott’s Berry Farm for many reasons and here’s one more reason why we can’t get enough of this fun place. From now until March 18th,Knott’s Berry Farm and Susan G. Komen Orange County are working together for the third year to raise money for breast cancer awareness, services and research by offering special “Pink Tickets” and commemorative Knott’s for the Cure t-shirts.

75% of the funds raised for Susan G. Komen are used to provide local services throughout Orange County:

  • Breast cancer detection and treatment education
  • Information and support for breast cancer survivors and families
  • Funding for free mammograms for uninsured and underserved women

25% of the funds raised for Susan G. Komen support national research to discover the cure for breast cancer.

We’ve had both friends and family dear to us, be affected by this terrible disease. We love what the Susan G. Komen foundation does to help support survivors and families. One key to helping fight breast cancer is early detection and the Susan G. Komen foundations makes mammograms available to many that are unable to afford them.

It’s almost time for Knott’s Merry Farm!

The end of the year brings our two favorite events at Knott’s. The first one ended on October 31st, which means now it’s time for Knott’s Merry Farm!

Calico Carolers

This year features the holiday spectacular “Merry Christmas, Snoopy!” ice skating show, plus “Santa’s Christmas Cabin” where the family can take their Holiday photo with the man himself, Santa! Plus, you’ll also get to enjoy season decor and special limited-time holiday treat tastings. Try not to smile during the magic of the Christmas holiday at Knott’s, I dare you.

Take a trip back in time and celebrate Christmas in the Old West town of Calico. Climb aboard the Calico Railroad for Christmas on Engine 41 and meet Ghost Town residents eager to share their holiday plans with you. Those looking for great gift ideas can shop Knott’s Christmas Crafts Village, a shopping wonderland where local artisans demonstrate their craft and sell their unique gifts.

Snow and Glow in Ghost Town

In the evening, join Snoopy as he lights up the night in the Snoopy’s Merriest Tree Lighting show, then take a stroll through Ghost Town where snow gently falls while thousands of sparkling lights dance to the beat of holiday music.

This wonderful holiday tradition can be found at Knott’s Merry Farm from November 21-January 3!

Daytime Fun for the Kiddos at Knott’s Spooky Farm

We had a blast last weekend at Knott’s Spooky Farm! This year it has spread out beyond Camp Snoopy to locations all around Knott’s Berry Farm. This daytime, non-scare celebration, of cheer rather than fear, is the social event of the season with shows, activities and of course, a costume contest all geared for children ages 3-11. Children are encouraged to wear their costumes. This is a completely different event from the popular Knott’s Scary Farm event, held at nighttime.

Kids can take part in “Snoopy’s Costume Contest and Dance Party” and also visit the Camp Spooky Theatre to view “The Monsters are Coming, Charlie Brown”, a new Halloween show where everyone will be singing and dancing in the aisles to all their favorite Halloween tunes.

Knott's Spooky Farm

Kids of all ages can join in the fun with spooky karaoke and mask making at the “Monster Masquerade Ball Karaoke” or go Trick-or-Treating at Ghost Town where friendly ghosts deliver delicious treats. You can visit eat candy station once. While you’re there, be sure to say hi to Sad Eye Joe, he always appreciates visitors this time of the year.  At the “Spooky Hollow Maze” kids will travel through a spooky forest with gigantic jack-o-lanterns and encounter a headless horseman! See if you can survive the spinning jack-o-lantern tunnel.
