It’s that time again! The first weekend of the month means that Target is offering free admission to some pretty cool places to explore with the family, and Bank of America card holders(ATM/Debit or Credit Card) can enjoy free admission to some pretty fun places!
Target offers Free Admission to one of my favorite children’s museums, The La Habra Childrens Museum on the first Sunday of the month. It also offers Free Admission to the Bowers Museum and Kidseum. Both places are fantastic places for families and the kiddos are sure to have a good time.
Bank of America’s Museums on Us offers its customers a weekend of free admission to some fantastic places. Here is a list of Southern California attractions.

I know it’s only Wednesday, but I’m already looking forward to the weekend. If you’re like me and are already thinking about the weekend, make room in your calendar for the, Asian Lunar New Year Family Festival, taking place at the Bowers Museum.
This family festival is free to all guests and will include music, food, and a celebration of the Asian New Year. The festival takes place on Sunday, February 3rd and goes from noon until 3pm and since it’s a Target Free Sunday, you can check out the museum and the kidseum for free! - My kiddos having a blast at the Bowers Kidseum
Happy Sunday! This weekend just flew by for us. It always seems like the weekend goes by in a blink of an eye, especially as summer comes to an end. I know the week hasn’t even started yet, but I wanted to share a fun event coming up next week that is going to be a blast for the kiddos and also for the entire family.
On Sunday, August 21st, The Bowers Kidseum will host an open house and offer free admission to the public from 10am to 4pm.
The open house will let you learn more about the museum’s birthday parties, school tours, storytelling, scout classes, archaeological digs, educator workshops, outreach programs and summer camps. You will also be able to make an art project and there will also be face painting.
We’ve visited a few times with the kiddos and we love this fantastic place. The kiddos spent about an hour playing with the costumes and the exhibit and another hour making one of two different crafts.
The open house will also feature refreshments, storytelling, archaeological digs and tours. It is going to be a fantastic day and if you have been wanting to visit this great museum for free, this is your chance! Bring the entire family and have a great and free day.
