Netflix always has us covered for the holidays. They have traditional holiday movies and specials and then they come up with even more on their own. I suspect once school gets out, we will be having a Netflix holiday marathon with so many of these shows. For Thanksgiving, we took a nice long road trip up the coast of California. Each kids brought their own electronic device. We also went with the unlimited data plan recently, which is impossible to live without these days. It comes in particularly handy when you’ve got two tweens are taking a long ride in the car. Netflix came in handy to keep the kiddos entertained.

My son’s favorite is Stranger Things. He discovered the series with the second season, but eventually got around to catching all of season one as well

My daughter is hooked on Riverdale. She has tried to explain the premise to me, which sounded good enough for teenagers, so we approved it for her. She loves the show!

What are some of the shows that you kids will binge watch over the holidays?

Netflix is such a handy tool for families. Whether it be to entertain for an hour or even educate. Kids may say the darndest things, but they also ask the hardest questions. Whether it’s the new way they’re learning long division or if they’re asking you science questions that seem much more sophisticated than their age (thanks Magic School Bus Rides Again), keep your family TV time moments intact with Google in the palm of your hand. So much learning to do!
