Zoomars Petting Zoo
Last Saturday I had the opportunity to head south and took the family on a super fun outing to Zoomars Petting Zoo in San Juan Capistrano. Have you ever been to Zoomars? If you haven’t, you are missing out!
Train Rides at Zoomars
Zoomars is THE petting zoo to visit in Southern California. Zoomars, formerly known as Jones Family Mini-Farm, is the place to make memories with the little ones. The kiddos can pet donkeys, pet bunnies at the bunny patch, take a pony ride, feed goats, sheep and even pan for gold! My kids were in heaven!!
Feeding the animals
You and the family are in for quite the adventure at Zoomars. Here are a few of the experiences at Zoomars.
Petting Zoo: Meet, greet and feed your favorite farm animals! From Bunnies to pot bellied pigs to donkeys! You will be able to feed and pet the animals of your choice to your heart’s content!
Pony Rides: The kiddos will have the time of their lives riding a horse or a pony down a trail as we watched and cheered for them. It was the highlight of the day for them. They loved every minute of it!
Panning for Gemstones/Gold: The entire family can join in on the fun as you pan for gold, gemstones and fossils. Take a step back in time and be part of the Caliofrnia Gold Rush! My kiddos loved panning for gems. They loved being able to match up the gems and couldn’t stop talking about it on their way home!
Train Rides: Kids will have a blast riding a choo choo train. Make sure to bring your camera to capture the experience
Playground and Corn Box: Let the kiddos have a blast playing in the corn box. A super fun twist on a sandbox. the kiddos won’t want to budge from the corn box. After playing on the corn box head over to the playground for some good old fashioned playtime!
Panning for gold!
We had a blast at Zoomars Petting Zoo and can’t wait to go back. My son’s birthday is later this month and he is begging to have his party there!
Pony rides!!
This month Zoomars is featuring Weekends in Wonderland with special holiday activities including Breakfast with Santa and more.
Zoomars Petting Zoo is located in the Los Rios Historic District in San Juan Capistrano and only a few steps away from the San Juan Capistrano train station. You are literally only a hop and a skip away. Next time we head there we plan on taking Metrolink or Amtrak with the kids and make an entire day of it!
