Wicked is coming to Southern California!

I  was so excited to read that Wicked is coming to town. It has become one of my favorite musicals! I’ve had the opportunity to catch the show a few times when it played at the Pantages and completely fell in love with the show. My daughter was still a bit too young at the time but now she is the perfect age to watch. I can’t wait to take her!

Wicked will play at the Orange County Performing Arts Center from March 9th to April 3rd and you do not want to miss it. If you love The Wizard of Oz, you will absolutely love Wicked. Tickets will start at $38.75. To learn more about the show and to purchase tickets head over here.

Yay! So excited to finally be able to catch this much talked about and loved Musical!! I missed it last time and was told it would never come back to my area…so happy it has decided to show up again. Thanks for the information, if it wouldn’t be for your wonderful updates, I probably would be so out of the loop on things like this!

My husband and I saw this at The Pantages a few years ago, and it was amazing! Absolutely amazing! My husband was skeptical, but he was pleasantly surprised. We might have to see it again.

Megan my daughter is almost 6. She has sat through a couple of plays and I think she is ready for the show. My son just turned 4 and I probably will not take him. He loves and knows the music by heart but…. he has a hard time watching a movie/play in a theater and probably would not do too well with a two and a half hour show.

OK, thanks. I think my 4 year old could probably make it through. He did very well when we went to see Peter Pan at the OCPA. I was more concerned that it might be too scary for a 4 year old since I’ve never seen it myself.

Someone has posted a bunch of it on youtube – I’ve been watching it online with my 4 1/2 year old so we can talk about any of the scary parts and I can evaluate if she’s ready for it or not. look up “Wicked Chicago last performance.” They’re labeled 1-20something in order. 🙂
Here’s one of my favs – not scary, but i love it!:
