The Del Mar Farmers Market is a must visit!

We have one more day of work/school and then we are off for two weeks. Over the next couple of days we’ll be posting some great ideas for activities that won’t break the bank.  Here are some great places to go for little $! All you need is a tank of gas, some parking and food and you are ready to roll! Have fun!

Knott’s Berry Farm’s Boysenberry Festival

Although it’s felt like it’s here already, we are just a month away from the start of Spring and that means the Knott’s Boysenberry Festival.  Knott’s really knows how to celebrate the seasons, Fall and Halloween Haunt, Winter and the Christmas Crafts Village and now Spring and the Boysenberry Festival.  Walter Knott didn’t invent the boysenberry, but he sure did make it famous.

We look forward to sharing all the sights and sounds with you next month as the event kicks off. The Boysenberry Festival will feature larger than life displays of beautiful spring colors, interactive family-friendly activities, expanded gourmet food and wine tasting and much more!

As part of the festivities, Daytripping Mom is also doing a giveaway for two (2) tickets to Knott’s Berry Farm.  These tickets can only be used through the Boysenberry Festival season, March 28-April 12,2015. In order to be entered, you must do the following:

Good luck to everyone! See you at the Farm.
