Incorporating Exercise In Our Daily Routine #Hazloejercicio #Positivismo

Every New Year most of us make resolutions and usually one of them includes to exercise more, develop healthier habits and search for steroids alternatives. This year I promised myself not to really make sure that I stick to my new resolutions and actually joined a gym. I keep telling myself baby steps. One of those baby steps is also incorporating some form of exercise that I can do at home, when I can’t make it out to the gym and always use my supplements, get this steroids for sale as a recommendation if you are also a gym rat.

The California Milk Processor Board recently launched a new series of ten (10) “Hazlo Ejercicio” video segments to encourage you to incorporate exercise into your daily routine. The video segments will air on Despierta America every weekday morning from January 7th to January 18th between 7 am and 8 am (PST). The trainer and his assistant will show you how to do fun and easy exercises that you can do at home. If you miss a segment, you can always visit/subscribe to El Vaso Medio Lleno’s YouTube channel,  Hazloejercicio.com , to watch any of the videos as they are released.

I have the weakest upper body and core strength and am working on push ups. I can barely do them, but I’m working on it! I’m trying this.

Working on some strength!

It’s not actually too tough. I”m looking forward to incorporating more of these exercises in to my daily life. I’m looking forward to adding these. They are simple, don’t require going to the gym and will definitely help me out! Another plus is that after my workout I can finish off with a glass of chocolate milk! A yummie treat and helps your muscles recover after a workout.

My favorite Winter Treat: Mexican Hot Chocolate #Positivismo

Good to the last drop!

I love this time of year. I’m all about drinking yummie drinks to warm up, when there is a chill in the air. After a day of running around and shopping till I’m dropping, I love warming up with a good cup of hot chocolate. My grandmother used to make the best Mexican hot chocolate almost every night in the winter, and it’s become a source of comfort. I use the Abuelita hot chocolate tablets. It gives the hot chocolate the most amazing flavor.

Mexican Hot Chocolate

  • 3 cups milk
  • 1 table of abuelita chocolate
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract

In a medium saucepan, bring milk to a boil. Add the tablet of abuelita chocolate. I usually break it off, instead of using the full tablet. Stir until chocolate is well blended. Add the cinnamon and vanilla. Stir some more. Let it cool down a bit and enjoy!

I love making a batch and putting on my favorite Real Housewife show after the kiddos have gone to bed. It is my own little piece of heaven. I usually whip some up when I have a few minutes to spare. I sometimes skip the chocolate and just warm some milk to help me go to bed. It always seems to work like in a charm and helps me unwind.  I also wanted to share with you a webisode of another of my favorite milk dessert recipes, flan! One of my favorite bakeries, Porto’s Bakery (they make the BEST potato balls and Cuban sandwiches), shares their delish flan recipe! It’s so good!  Check out their world famous flan recipe below and don’t forget to check out  El Vaso Medio Lleno Webshow and YouTube channel.

#Positivismo Milk’s Truck

As part of the being a positivismo ambassador, I’ve shared about our bedtime routine at home with my kiddos. We drink some warm milk, say our prayers and then read a book, before they are tucked into bed  or mom and dad’s bed. They love love sleeping in our room whenever they are given the opportunity.

We have enjoyed reading www.otroscuentos.com.  The kiddos love that the stories are in both English and Spanish. We usually read them in both languages and they have now become part of our bedtime rituals.

We watched the video from the milk truck earlier today and they were of course asking if they could have the milk truck stop off in our neighborhood right before bedtime. Warm milk, a good story before bedtime? Dreamy!
